Mark Poerio

Mark is an almost-retired executive compensation lawyer .. ready now to enjoy writing novels and histories, with the first one being "Son of Assisi: My Spiritual Journey through Murder, Obsession, and Worse".

Mark's been frequently published for over 40 years, in articles ranging from education to law. With creativity at times! For instance, he once had Plato being reincarnated as a modern day teacher, in "Plato, On the Renewal of American Education" (McGill Journal of Education). Another time, he drew from Tennyson's Charge of the Light Brigade for an executive compensation update.

He also proudly authored "Hitting Workplace Harassers Where It Hurts" (guess where!), National Law Journal.

Mark is happily settled in Charleston SC, with travel mainly to visit children and grandchildren in Italy and Annapolis MD.
